    Senna Docusate Sodium Usage: this medication is used since short-term treatment of constipation.

    How to use Senna Docusate Sodium: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Laxatives should not be used at persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

    Senna Docusate Sodium side effects: this medication can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. this medication may cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. it is not harmful. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Senna Docusate Sodium Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about laxatives may lead to dependency. this drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. Consult your healthcare professional before using any med while breast-feeding.

    Senna Docusate Sodium medication interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of some meds, It's important to tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Senna Docusate Sodium Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums and eyes.

    Senna Docusate Sodium special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, it is important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase your intake of fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.

    If you missed Senna Docusate Sodium dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Senna Docusate Sodium Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and moisture. do not store in the bathroom.
