Pse 120 Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Pse 120: Take this medication by mouth. this must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this med as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Pse 120 side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first few days as you're body adjusts to the tablet. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Pse 120 Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your physician. It's not known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Pse 120 drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, med since HBP. Tell your healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Pse 120 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.
Pse 120 special notes: don't share it product with others.
If you missed Pse 120 dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Pse 120 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
