Foaming Antacid Usage: this is an antacid that works in stomach to neutralize & reduce acid. Antacids are used to treat an upset stomach caused by heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach; to treat peptic ulcer, hiatal hernia or another conditions caused by an excess about stomach acid; and to prevent ulcers or bleeding from ulcers.
How to use Foaming Antacid: Take this pill as prescribed. Taking too much of of an antacid can reverse effects & more acid will be secreted. in certain conditions, however, it may be necessary to take the antacid as frequently as every 1 to 2 hours. To be effective, chewable pills must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed by full glass of water. Shake liquid forms well before pouring each dose. do not take any other med within 1 to two hours of taking an antacid. since antacids coat stomach, they can prevent other pills from being absorbed properly if taken at same clock.
Foaming Antacid side effects: this medication can cause nausea, loss of appetite, constipation or diarrhea, weakness, or headache. If these symptoms persist or become severe, notify youre healthcare professional. Notify some your pharmacist if you notice black, tarry stools while taking this medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Foaming Antacid Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially about: kidney problems.
Foaming Antacid drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: tetracycline, ferrous sulfate (iron), drugs used for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, indomethacin), digoxin, isoniazid, pseudoephedrine, diazepam, methenamine, ketoconazole. don't start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Foaming Antacid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include dizziness, fatigue, weakness, severe nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, or loss of consciousness.
Foaming Antacid special notes: Refrigerating the liquid antacids may improve taste. do not freeze. If you dislike taste about one antacid, talk to your pharmacist or healthcare professional about switching to a similar product. liquid antacid forms work faster & more effective than another forms. However, chewable tablets may be more convenient.
If you missed Foaming Antacid dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Foaming Antacid Storage: Store pills, capsules & powdered forms at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms about this pill.
