Histade Mx Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat and itchy, watery eyes. Anticholinergics have drying effect on mucous secretions. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Histade Mx: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. it medication is best taken with a full glass about water after a meal or snack. Long-acting pills and capsules must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or long action may be destroyed & the chance of side effects increased.

Histade Mx side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose & eyes may occur the 1-st few days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake about alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Histade Mx Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, any allergies. money this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre healthcare professional. for small amounts of this drug found in breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Histade Mx drug interactions: Tell your physician about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: medication for blood pressure, med for depression such as MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your physician if you take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety pills (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure meds (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants. Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this drug. don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.

Histade Mx Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, fast breathing, fever, hot dry and flushed skin, seizures, or coma.

Histade Mx special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Histade Mx dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Histade Mx Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. don't store in bathroom.
