Senna C Usage: Irritant or stimulant laxatives used to treat constipation & to clear intestine before rectal or bowel examinations.

How to use Senna C: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice and drink plenty of fluids while taking this drug. Chewable tablets are to be chewed thoroughly. meds to be swallowed whole with full glass of water. Wafers are to be chewed. Laxatives must not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Senna C side effects: this medication may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you experience: rectal bleeding, rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, unrelieved constipation. it med can cause the urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. it isnot harmful. Prolonged, frequent or excessive use of laxatives may lead to dependency. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Senna C Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially about: kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, swelling (edema), any allergies (especially to tartrazine). Castor oil isn't recommended for use during pregnancy. Bulk producing laxatives are an alternative. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. Consult your doctor before using any pill while breast-feeding.

Senna C med interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of some medications, Its important to tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. Avoid use of dairy goods or antacids within one hour of taking bisacodyl pills. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.

Senna C Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss about appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

Senna C special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, it is important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase youre intake about fiber and roughage and exercise regularly.

If you missed Senna C dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if this is near the time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
