Ovidrel Usage: this medication is used to help women with fertility problems become pregnant. it works by helping to produce mature eggs for fertilization; ether naturally or by assisted means (e.g., in vitro fertilization).
How to use Ovidrel: Learn every preparation and usage instructions in the product package. If any of following text is unclear, consult your physician or pharmacist. After injecting mixing liquid (diluent) in to vial of powdered med, gently roll vial until powder is completely dissolved; do not shake injection/vial. Doing so may make this medicine ineffective. Inject this medication under the skin (subcutaneously) usually the day after your last dose of follicle stimulating medicine as directed by your physician. youre doctor's decision to give this injection is based on laboratory and medical test results (e.g., serum estradiol, vaginal ultrasound). Before using, dollars this product visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, do not use the liquid. Learn how to store & discard needles and medical supplies safely. Consult your pharmacist.
Ovidrel side effects: Injection site reactions (e.g., pain, irritation, bruising, swelling), nausea, gas or vomiting may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional promptly. Tell you're pharmacist immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: severe stomach/abdominal pain and/or swelling, unusual vaginal bleeding, diarrhea, weight gain, trouble breathing, decrease in amount of urine. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: yellowing eyes and skin, dark urine, unusual weakness/fatigue, fever, pain or swelling in legs, sudden difficulty breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Ovidrel Precautions: this med isn't recommended for use if you have the next medical conditions: primary ovarian failure, thyroid or adrenal gland problems, pituitary gland tumor, unusual vaginal bleeding, ovarian cysts, tumors or cancers of female reproductive organs (e.g., fallopian tubes, ovaries, uterus). Tell your pharmacist some your medical history, especially of: liver problems, any allergies. Successful treatment with this drug (pregnancy) may result in multiple births. Discuss the risks & benefits of having such pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant after treatment with this drug, stop using this med & inform some your healthcare professional immediately. it drug must not be used during pregnancy because it can cause fetal harm. it is not known if this medication passes in to breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Ovidrel med interactions: Tell you're doctor of every prescription & nonprescription drug you may use. it product can affect the results of certain lab tests (e.g., hormone levels, pregnancy tests). Make sure laboratory personnel know you use this product. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.
Ovidrel Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Ovidrel special notes: do not share this medication with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., hormone levels, ultrasound) may be performed to monitor you're progress. Keep all scheduled doctor's appointments & medical exams.
If you missed Ovidrel dose: If you miss dose, contact some your doctor to establish new dosing schedule.
Ovidrel Storage: Before mixing, store at room temperature or in refrigerator between 36 & 77 degrees F (2 & 25 degrees C) away from light. 1 time mixed, the vial must be used immediately. Discard any unused portion of vial.
