Ethedent Usage: Sodium fluoride makes teeth more resistant to decay and bacteria that cause cavities. this drug is used to prevent cavities. this fluoride supplement is used when the drinking water contains low fluoride levels (less then 0.7 parts per million).
How to use Ethedent: this is best used once daily just before bedtime after routine brushing & flossing or as directed by your pharmacist. Apply thin ribbon of medicine to toothbrush & brush thoroughly since 2 minutes or as directed. Adults: after use, spit out excess. for best results, don't eat, drink or rinse since 30 minutes. Age six to 16: after use, spit out excess & rinse mouth thoroughly.
Ethedent side effects: Inform your pharmacist if you experience mouth or gum irritation while using this medication. If your teeth become stained or change color, notify some your dentist. Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, headache or muscle twitches may occur if it med is accidentally swallowed. If these symptoms occur, contact youre doctor. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Ethedent Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional you're medical history, especially of: any allergies, kidney problems, joint pain. If you live in an region where the drinking water is fluoridated, inform youre healthcare professional. Before using it medicine, tell your doctor if you pregnant. It's not known if it medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Ethedent drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist about every prescription and nonprescription pills you may use. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Ethedent Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, excess saliva, stomach pain, diarrhea, irritability, seizures, and loss about consciousness.
Ethedent special notes: Fluoride is found at tea, fluoridated water and fish eaten with bones such as sardines.
If you missed Ethedent dose: If you miss dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not use it if It's near the time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Ethedent Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. As with every meds, keep out of reach of children.
