Senna S Usage: this medication is used for the short-term treatment of constipation.

How to use Senna S: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice and drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Laxatives should not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Senna S side effects: this drug may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. this drug may cause the urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. don't be alarmed. It's not harmful. Notify you're physician if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.

Senna S Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, HBP, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about laxatives may lead to dependency. it drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. Consult your physician before using any med while breast-feeding.

Senna S drug interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with the absorption of some medications, It's important to tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Senna S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack about feeling alert, or dry gums and eyes.

Senna S special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, Its important to drink plenty about fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses a day), increase youre intake of fiber & roughage and exercise regularly.

If you missed Senna S dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Senna S Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & moisture. do not store at bathroom.
