Tioconazole Usage: this medication is an antifungal used to treat certain vaginal infections.

How to use Tioconazole: this drug is for vaginal use only & is usually given as a single dose. Open the applicator just prior to use. Insert applicator high into vagina (unless you are pregnant) and press plunger to release medication. Discard applicator. Use sanitary napkin/minipad to prevent staining clothing. do not use tampon. detailed instruction sheet must be provided with drug. Review instructions & be sure to ask some your pharmacist or pharmacist should you have any questions.

Tioconazole side effects: this medication may cause vaginal itching, burning, irritation or pain or painful urination. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, contact your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or doctor.

Tioconazole Precautions: Tell your doctor you're medical history, including: use of latex diaphragms or condoms, any allergies. the ointment base of this drug can weaken latex. Therefore, do not use latex condoms or diaphragms since 3 days after using this pill. Avoid vaginal sexual intercourse when using this drug. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. It's unknown if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult youre physician before breast-feeding.

Tioconazole medication interactions: Tell some your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may use. Avoid use of vaginal douches while using this pill. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.

Tioconazole Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Tioconazole special notes: this medication is not contraceptive agent. don't share this med with others.

If you missed Tioconazole dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered.

Tioconazole Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light.
