Eye lubricant - ophthalmic
Revive Usage: this med is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.
How to use Revive: Use this med in the eye as directed. To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or top about the ointment tube or let it touch your eye. Tilt some your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. for drops, place dropper directly over eye and administer the prescribed number about drops. look downward & gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of eye near nose and apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the tablet from draining away from the eye. for ointment, hold the tube directly over the eye and gently squeeze small ribbon of ointment into the eye. Slowly roll youre eye in all directions to spread the ointment. Try not to blink and do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using other eye medicines, wait in least five minutes before applying other medications.
Revive side effects: it tablet may temporarily sting your eyes when 1-st applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome or condition for which this was prescribed does not improve within some days, inform your physician. Vision may be temporarily unstable for some minutes after applying it. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: a skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around eyes, headache. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Revive Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. Tell your doctor if you pregnant before using this medication. Though, to date, no problems have been noted in nursing infants, consult youre healthcare professional before you breast-feed.
Revive drug interactions: Tell some your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may use, especially of: other eye medication. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Revive Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Revive special notes: few products contain preservatives which can cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss the various products with your health care professional.
If you missed Revive dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Revive Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Discard this if the solution is not clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.
