Ak Sulf Usage: it medication is used to treat infections of eye (ophthalmic) or ear (otic).

How to use Ak Sulf: Use this as prescribed. Continue using it for full clock prescribed. Stopping therapy too soon may result in a reinfection. To apply eye or ear medication, wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or tube or let this touch affected area. Shake drops well before using. Hold the ointment tube in some your hand for few minutes to make the medication flow easier. EYE drug: Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. for drops, place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number of drops. watch downward and gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. With eye ointment, place medication inside the lower lid using sweeping motion. Close eye and roll eyeball. Remove excess ointment with a tissue. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. If you using another kind of eye medication, wait five to ten minutes before applying. EAR med: Lie on youre side or turn affected ear upward to make application easier. Place the prescribed number about drops in the ear. Avoid touching the ear canal. Keep the ear tilted for one to two minutes. small piece of clean cotton may be placed in the ear to prevent drops from escaping.

Ak Sulf side effects: this drug may temporarily sting when 1-st applied. If it effect persists or worsens, inform your doctor promptly. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this medication, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, redness, swelling or discharge (including the eye or ear area), trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Ak Sulf Precautions: Tell your doctor some your medical history, especially: all previous eye or ear problems, if you use contact lenses, any allergies. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye drug. Use caution driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. it & all drugs should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy or when breast-feeding. Consult with your healthcare professional if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Ak Sulf medication interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of all medications you may use (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: silver preparations, all another eye or ear antibiotic or corticosteroid (e.g., hydrocortisone) meds. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.

Ak Sulf Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Ak Sulf special notes: Throw away any unused event of your prescription. do not save it to use for another infection. do not allow anyone else to use this drug. the infection may spread to another poeple if you accidentally contaminate the medication.

If you missed Ak Sulf dose: If you miss a dose, apply this as soon as remembered; do not use if Its almost clock since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Ak Sulf Storage: Depending upon the manufacturer, product may be stored at room temperature or refrigerated. Ask your pharmacist. don't store in bathroom. do not freeze.
