Nasatab LA Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination pill is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Nasatab LA: Take this tablet by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew drug. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it drug as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Nasatab LA side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur 1'st few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify you're doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Nasatab LA Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. It's not known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.
Nasatab LA drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, tablet for depression, medication for HBP. Tell your pharmacist if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Nasatab LA Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Nasatab LA special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Nasatab LA dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Nasatab LA Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
