Bacitracin Polymyxin B Sulfate Usage: it medication is combination antibiotic used on the skin to treat an infection.
How to use Bacitracin Polymyxin B Sulfate: it med is for topical use only. Clean & dry affected region as directed. then apply small amount of the medication on skin. a thin layer is all that is needed. Cover with a bandage if directed to do so. do not use large amounts, apply it more many times or use it for a longer period then directed. your condition will not clear faster, but chance for side effects may be increased. Use carefully if applying to the face. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose & mouth.
Bacitracin Polymyxin B Sulfate side effects: this medication can cause burning, redness, or rash. Notify youre physician if you develop any of these symptoms. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're physician or pharmacist.
Bacitracin Polymyxin B Sulfate Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: another illnesses, an infection, allergies (especially to antibiotics). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. it isnot known if this drug is found in breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Bacitracin Polymyxin B Sulfate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Bacitracin Polymyxin B Sulfate special notes: If the condition since which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, notify your doctor.
If you missed Bacitracin Polymyxin B Sulfate dose: If you miss dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time since the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Bacitracin Polymyxin B Sulfate Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. check the expiration date on tube and discard any expired medication.
