Pancrelipase - oral enteric coated capsule

Palipase Usage: it med contains digestive enzymes which help digest and absorb foods. It's used to treat symptoms of pancreatitis or other various digestive disorders.

How to use Palipase: it medication works best if taken with or after meals. Swallow capsule whole. don't crush or chew it. the capsule may also be opened, contents sprinkled on very small amount of soft food (e.g., gelatin, applesauce) & food swallowed immediately without chewing. do not mix contents of capsule with alkaline foods such as milk or ice cream because protective coating may dissolve prematurely. Antacids may hinder effects of this medication. do not take an antacid in same time as this drug. Wait at least two hours between administration.

Palipase side effects: Generally this medication is very well tolerated and side effects are mild if they occur. Diarrhea, cramping or stomach upset may occur when starting treatment. If these effects persist or worsen, inform youre doctor. Although very unlikely to occur, notify your healthcare professional if you develop: a skin rash, severe stomach distress. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.

Palipase Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially to pork). this drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. it isn't known if this drug appears in breast milk. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.

Palipase medication interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional about all prescription & nonprescription medication you may use. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Palipase Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Palipase special notes: do not share this product with others.

If you missed Palipase dose: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for following dose. If this is time for the next dose, skip missed dose and resume your regular schedule. don't 'double-up' dose.

Palipase Storage: Store at room temperature & keep away from moisture & heat. do not store in bathroom.
