Ak Pred Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling & itching about eye (ophthalmic).

How to use Ak Pred: Use this as prescribed. To apply eye medication, wash hands 1-st. Be careful not to touch the dropper tip or let this touch the affected area to avoid contamination. Shake suspension form well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. watch downward & gently close your eye since 1 to 2 minutes. If you are using another kind of eye medication, wait five to ten minutes before applying.

Ak Pred side effects: the side effects listed assume short-term use of this medication. this medication may temporarily sting when first applied. If this persists or becomes bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye med. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify youre doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching, redness or swelling in or around the eyes. Very unlikely effects: persistent vision problems, watering eyes, eye pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Ak Pred Precautions: Before using this med, tell youre doctor: any allergies, infections, eye problems. Using contact lenses during treatment with it medication may increase chance of developing an eye infection. Prolonged use may result in glaucoma, cataracts, & other eye problems. Consult your physician or doctor. this med should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. Consult you're doctor if breast-feeding.

Ak Pred drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription medication you use. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.

Ak Pred Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Ak Pred special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, consult your physician.

If you missed Ak Pred dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if this is almost time since the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Ak Pred Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
