Bromhist DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Antitussives cough suppressants used to relieve dry, hacking cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat & itchy, watery eyes. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Bromhist DM: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often then directed. it med is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack.
Bromhist DM side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur 1st some days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake about alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify you're pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, hypertension, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact some your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Bromhist DM Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, allergies (especially tablet allergies). dollars this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Bromhist DM medication interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), narcotic pain drug (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this med. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Bromhist DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, abnormal tongue or eye movement, slurred speech, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, slow or shallow breathing, change in amount of urine, unconsciousness, hallucination, sleeplessness, itching, or seizures.
Bromhist DM special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Bromhist DM dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if it is near the time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Bromhist DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
