Syrex Usage: this sterile saline solution is used as a mixing solution (diluent) for powder medications. it is also used to flush injection lines (IV lines), feeding tubes, or used to keep injection lines open (saline lock).
How to use Syrex: If you mixing drugs with this solution, follow every instructions since proper mixing and storage. If you have any questions regarding use of this solution, consult youre pharmacist. this solution should be checked visually for particles or discoloration before use. If either is present, don't use liquid. Learn how to store & discard medical supplies safely. Consult your physician.
Syrex side effects: No side effects are expected to occur. If side effects occur, notify your pharmacist promptly. Tell your physician immediately if any about these highly unlikely but serious side effects occur: fever, swelling, irritation at injection site (e.g., redness, pain). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Syrex Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: heart problems (e.g., congestive heart failure), lung problems (pulmonary edema), kidney problems, low levels of potassium (hypokalemia), high levels of sodium (hypernatremia), swelling (edema), any allergies. Caution is advised when using this drug in infants since they may be more sensitive to the effects of drug. Tell you're physician if you are pregnant before using this drug. It's unknown if this med passes at to breast milk. Consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.
Syrex drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of every prescription and nonprescription medication you may use. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Syrex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
