Dylix Usage: this medication improves breathing by opening air passages in the lungs. it is used in the treatment about asthma, chronic bronchitis & emphysema.
How to use Dylix: this drug works best when taken on an empty stomach one hour before or two hours after meals. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food. this drug works best if constant level is maintained in body. Do it by taking doses at evenly spaced intervals.
Dylix side effects: Dizziness, headache, lightheadedness, heartburn, stomach pain, loss about appetite, restlessness, nervousness, sleeplessness or increased urination may occur as your body adjusts to the med. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Inform your pharmacist if you experience: chest pain, rapid or irregular heartbeat, confusion, severe stomach pain, breathing difficulties. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Dylix Precautions: Tell youre doctor your medical history, especially of: heart disease, kidney problems, stomach or intestinal problems, any allergies you may have. it medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your physician. Dyphylline is excreted into breast milk. Though there have been no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Dylix drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every the tablets you use (both prescription & nonprescription) especially of: mexiletine, probenecid, halothane (an anesthetic), dipyridamole, beta-blockers (e.g., atenolol, propranolol), other drugs used for breathing problems. Avoid drinking large amounts about beverages containing caffeine (coffee, tea, colas) or eating large amounts about chocolate. Caffeine can increase side effects of this med. do not change youre diet with-out 1st checking with your healthcare professional. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Dylix Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include fast or irregular heartbeat, nausea or vomiting, unusual nervousness or restlessness, agitation, irritability, headache, & seizures.
Dylix special notes: don't share this med with others.
If you missed Dylix dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock for the next dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Dylix Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms about this pill.
