Tinactin Usage: this medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.
How to use Tinactin: Clean & dry the affected area before applying the drug. To apply, gently massage a little bit about pill to affected area and surrounding skin. Continue to use medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your healthcare professional. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after 4 weeks, consult your doctor. another medication may be necessary. don't apply this medication in to the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.
Tinactin side effects: it tablet may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. this should disappear in few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your physician promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.
Tinactin Precautions: Tell youre physician your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using it pill, tell your healthcare professional if you pregnant or planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
Tinactin drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Tinactin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Tinactin special notes: this pill is prescribed for your current condition only. don't use it for another infection or share this with someone else. other infection later on may require a different medicine.
If you missed Tinactin dose: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Tinactin Storage: Store in room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. don't store in bathroom. Keep out of the reach of children.
