Hydroxocobalamin Usage: Hydroxocobalamin is man-made (synthetic) form of vitamin B12; a vitamin that helps the body with blood & nerve function, cell production, & growth. few medical conditions (e.g., various GI problems, cancer, infections) may cause low levels about vitamin B12 in body.
Hydroxocobalamin canbe used also for: this vitamin may also be used to treat variety of other medical conditions including: multiple sclerosis, nerve problems (e.g., neuropathies), viral hepatitis, certain thyroid conditions (e.g., thyrotoxicosis), sterility, & malnutrition.
How to use Hydroxocobalamin: Inject this med into muscle (IM) as directed by you're healthcare professional. Initially, It's usually given once per day but may later be changed by your healthcare professional to once monthly (for maintenance). it medication shouldnot be mixed with certain other injectable medications. Doing so could make it drug ineffective. Consult your physician for details. Before using, dollars it product visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, don't use the liquid. Hydroxocobalamin side effects: Mild diarrhea, itching, or a feeling of general swelling may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist. Tell youre pharmacist immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: pain in the groin or lower legs, trouble breathing, swelling of hands & feet, unusual weakness/fatigue, chest pain. An allergic reaction to it tablet is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, severe swelling, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.
Hydroxocobalamin Precautions: Tell some your doctor your medical history, especially of: low potassium levels, gout, certain eye diseases (e.g., Leber's disease), another vitamin deficiencies, any allergies. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Based on information of related products, it pill may pass into breast milk. Therefore, consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.
Hydroxocobalamin medication interactions: Tell some your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription pill you may use, especially: chloramphenicol. this product can affect the results of certain lab tests. Make sure laboratory personnel & you're physicians know you use this product. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Hydroxocobalamin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If you missed Hydroxocobalamin dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as you remember. If It's near time of the following dose, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Hydroxocobalamin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from light.
