Comhist Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Comhist: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless youre pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your physician. do not increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Comhist side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects must subside as some your body adjusts to pill. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Comhist Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, pill allergies. bucks this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your doctor promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult you're doctor before breast-feeding. don't give this medication to child younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by doctor.
Comhist drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional what tablets you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy medication. don't take it drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.
Comhist Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose at children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Comhist dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if Its almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
