Numobid Usage: this medication is used to relieve dry cough & helps to loosen phlegm & mucous in the lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.
How to use Numobid: Take each dose of this medication with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up the mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless youre pharmacist instructs you otherwise. don't take it medication for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your doctor. If cough lasts since more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, headache or rash, consult your physician.
Numobid side effects: this med may cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.
Numobid Precautions: If you have any of the next health problems, consult your doctor before using it drug: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with some your pharmacist. it is not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Numobid drug interactions: Tell your doctor about every medicines you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially: another cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect results of certain lab tests. Be sure you're caregivers are aware you use this medicine before lab tests are performed. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Numobid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.
Numobid special notes: this tablet comes in variety of dose forms such as pills, capsules, long acting tablets or capsules & a syrup. Ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist to recommend the best product for you.
If you missed Numobid dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Numobid Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this med. don't store syrup in refrigerator.
