Cardec S Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Cardec S: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this pill, unless some your physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your healthcare professional. do not increase dose or take it more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Cardec S side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Cardec S Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, pill allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your physician before breast-feeding. do not give this med to child younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by a physician.
Cardec S drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist what meds you take, especially of: high blood pressure medications, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping meds, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy medication. don't take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last 2 weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Cardec S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Cardec S special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Cardec S dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Cardec S Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
