Trobicin W Diluent Usage: this medication is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections (e.g., gonorrhea).

Trobicin W Diluent Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, especially of: throat infections, exposure to syphilis, any allergies. a preservative (benzyl alcohol) which may be found in this product or in liquid used to mix this product (diluent) can infrequently cause serious problems (sometimes death) if given by injection to an infant during 1st months of life (neonatal period). risk is greater with lower birth weight infants & is greater with increased amounts of benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include sudden gasping, low blood pressure, or very slow heartbeat. Report these symptoms to healthcare professional immediately should they occur. If possible, preservative-free product must be used when treating neonates. Tell some your healthcare professional if you are pregnant before using this medication. it isn't known whether this med passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
