Q Tussin Usage: it medication is used to relieve dry cough & helps to loosen phlegm & mucous in lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.
How to use Q Tussin: Take each dose about this drug with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up the mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this drug, unless youre pharmacist instructs you otherwise. do not take this tablet for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your healthcare professional. If cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult your healthcare professional.
Q Tussin side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Q Tussin Precautions: If you have any about following health problems, consult your doctor before using this med: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this drug must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Q Tussin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.

If you missed Q Tussin dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Q Tussin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this medication. don't store syrup in the refrigerator.
