Nasal Spray Usage: it medication promotes nasal drainage and relieves nasal stuffiness. it is used to relieve symptoms associated with cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections & other related conditions. it is also used to relieve plugged ears.
How to use Nasal Spray: this med is used at nose as directed. To apply nasal spray, first blow your nose to help improve penetration of medication. Keeping your head upright, place the nasal spray just inside nostril being careful not to touch the container to inside about nose. Squeeze the container as you inhale deeply through you're nose. Sniff hard some times to be sure medication reaches deep into nose. do not use this more often than directed or increase your dose. Therapy usually lasts for 3 to three days. Excessive use of this medication can actually increase nasal congestion.
Nasal Spray side effects: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying about nostrils, and altered taste may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shaking of the hands, tremors, unusual weakness. it medication may cause dizziness. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.
Nasal Spray Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: heart problems, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, seizure disorder, glaucoma, allergies (especially to sulfites). elderly and children may be more susceptible to the effects of this medication. Use this with caution. it medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. since small amounts about this pill are found in breast milk, consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Nasal Spray drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take especially of: HBP meds, antidepressants, cough-and-cold or allergy medications. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or doctor approval.
Nasal Spray Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually fast heartbeat.
Nasal Spray special notes: theyre are various nasal decongestants available, many without prescription. Discuss with youre doctor or pharmacist best product for you.
If you missed Nasal Spray dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if it is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Nasal Spray Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom. do not share container with anyone else. Throw away container when the drug is no longer required.
