Neomycin/polymyxin/hydrocortisone - otic solution

Otocidin Usage: this med is used to treat certain infections about the outer ear.
How to use Otocidin: since best effects, this med must be used as directed. Continue using it since the full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear infection & could possibly result at reinfection. do not use this med more often or continue to use it for longer then directed. Apply ear drops to the affected ears as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper tip or let it touch your ear. If medication has been refrigerated, hold bottle at your hand for a few minutes to warm it. Lie on your side or tilt the affected ear up. Place dropper directly over ear & administer the prescribed number of drops. To help the drops roll into ear, at adults, hold the earlobe up & back and in children, hold earlobe down & back. Keep head tilted for of two minutes or insert soft cotton plug if directed to do so. don't rinse dropper.
Otocidin side effects: this drug may temporarily sting or burn your ear for a minute or two when applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify youre physician immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching, burning, redness, swelling or pain in or around ears. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
Otocidin Precautions: Tell your physician if you have any of the following conditions: infections, allergies (especially to antibiotics or sulfites). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor.
Otocidin drug interactions: Tell some your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Otocidin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Otocidin special notes: If condition since which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, consult your pharmacist.
If you missed Otocidin dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Otocidin Storage: this may be stored in refrigerator or at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Discard it if solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
