drug Rx DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & chest congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that relieves nasal congestion. it combination of medicines is used to treat symptoms due to colds, allergies, or certain upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, sinusitis).

How to use medication Rx DM: Take it drug by mouth with full glass about water usually every 12 hours or as directed by your physician. this drug must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the tablets. this kit comes with different colored morning doses and evening doses. Ask your doctor or physician how to use this pill correctly and follow all instructions carefully. do not increase your dose, take this more frequently, nor take it since longer periods about time than prescribed. If stomach upset occurs, you may take this with food or milk. It's recommended you drink plenty about clear fluids (water preferred; 6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

med Rx DM side effects: Nausea, headache, loss of appetite, nervousness, or dizziness, or rash may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify you're physician or physician promptly. Tell youre healthcare professional immediately if you develop any of these serious side effects: blurred vision, unusually quick heartbeat, difficulty urinating (men only), trouble sleeping. Tell some your healthcare professional immediately if you develop any of these unlikely but serious side effects: chest pain, irregular heartbeat, mental/mood changes, convulsions. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

pill Rx DM Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional you're medical history, especially of: high blood pressure, heart problems, diabetes, glaucoma, thyroid problems, enlarged prostate, seizures, any allergies you may have (especially to other cough-and-cold products). Because it med may make you dizzy, use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Elderly patients may be more sensitive to effects of this product. Use cautiously. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. pseudoephedrine at this combination product passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Therefore, this product isn't recommended for use by nursing mothers.

drug Rx DM drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medications you may use, especially: beta-blockers (e.g., metoprolol, propranolol), digoxin, stimulant pills (e.g., dextroamphetamine, methylphenidate), certain other high blood pressure medicine (e.g., guanethidine, methyldopa, reserpine), sibutramine, drugs for depression, all cough-and-cold products. do not use this medication if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline) within last 14 days. guaifenesin in this product may interfere with certain laboratory tests (e.g., uric acid). do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

med Rx DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe nausea & vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, seizures, or mental confusion.

drug Rx DM special notes: do not share it product with others.

If you missed drug Rx DM dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near time of following dose, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

drug Rx DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. Keep out of the reach about children.
