Naphazoline - ophthalmic

Ak Con Usage: Naphazoline is a decongestant used to relieve redness, puffiness, itchy and watering eyes associated with colds, allergies or eye irritations.

How to use Ak Con: To apply eye drops, wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let it touch youre eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer the prescribed number of drops. see downward & gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at corner about the eye near the nose & apply gentle pressure. it will prevent the medication from draining away from eye. Try not to blink and do not rub the eye. do not rinse dropper. If you using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other eye medications.

Ak Con side effects: this tablet may temporarily sting you're eyes for minute or two when you 1st use this. If stinging continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Vision may be blurred or unstable for few minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Inform your physician if you develop: severe eye pain, headache, redness/itching/swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Ak Con Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: heart problems, glaucoma, allergies (especially med allergies). it drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. this is not known if it medication appears in breast milk; consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Ak Con med interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Ak Con Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Ak Con special notes: don't share this product with others.

If you missed Ak Con dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost clock since the following dose. Instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' doses.

Ak Con Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. don't store at the bathroom. Discard if drops become discolored or cloudy.
