Baby Sunscreen Usage: Sunscreens are used to protect skin from sun preventing sunburn, premature aging, skin reactions & reducing risk of skin cancer.
How to use Baby Sunscreen: Sunscreens are for topical use only. Apply liberally to all exposed skin 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after swimming or excessive sweating. Wear protective eye covering. Use carefully when applying to face. Avoid contact with eyes. Use cautiously or avoid use on irritated skin. do not use on infants under 6 months old. children under 3 years must use sunscreen with SPF of 30.
Baby Sunscreen side effects: If sunscreen causes redness or rash, discontinue use. chat to you're physician or pharmacist about using a different type of sunscreen product. few sunscreen products may stain clothing. Apply with caution. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Baby Sunscreen Precautions: If you have any of following health problems, consult your pharmacist before using this drug: PABA allergy, benzocaine allergy, sulfa medication allergy.
Baby Sunscreen drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: skin products, sulfa-drugs, tetracycline, every antibiotics. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Baby Sunscreen Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Baby Sunscreen special notes: there various types of sunscreens available at cream, lotion, gel, stick & spray form. the sun produces two types about ultraviolet radiation (UV); UVA & UVB. UVA radiation causes skin damage & skin reactions to tablets, soaps, cosmetics & other chemicals. UVB radiation is responsible for sunburns & skin cancer. Sun Protection Factor (SPF) is a rating that indicates the degree of protection from the sun product provides. the higher the number, the greater protection. An SPF of at least 15 is recommended. SPF 30 is upper limit, meaning that numbers greater then 30 provide no greater benefit. Waterproof goods provide protection after being in the water for up to 80 minutes. Water-resistant products protect for up to 40 minutes & sweat-resistant products protect since up to 30 minutes of heavy sweating. Remember too that water, sand & snow reflect the sun.
If you missed Baby Sunscreen dose: Apply sunscreens liberally and much times when outdoors.
Baby Sunscreen Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Its recommended to replace sunscreen products every year as they lose potency over time.
