Ak Cide Usage: this medication is used to treat or prevent eye infections.

How to use Ak Cide: for best effect, this medication must be used routinely as directed. Continue using it for the full time prescribed. Stopping this drug too soon may not clear infection & could possibly result in reinfection. To apply ointment, wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the tip of tube to your hand or eye. Warm tube in you're hand before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place tip of tube directly over the pouch & apply prescribed amount of ointment. Blink gently. do not rinse tip of tube. Use a clean tissue to wipe any excess from your eye and from tip of tube after using. If you also using drops, be sure to instill the drops at least three minutes prior to ointment. If you are using another kind about ointment, wait in least ten minutes before applying this to the eye. don't wear contact lenses while using this product.

Ak Cide side effects: this medication may temporarily sting your eyes for minute or two when you first use this. If stinging persists or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying this ointment. Use caution when driving or performing duties that require clear vision. Notify some your doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching/red- ness/swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Ak Cide Precautions: Tell your physician you're medical history, especially of: other eye problems, contact lens use, any allergies. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. Consult with your physician before breast-feeding.

Ak Cide drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drug you may use, especially: other eye medicine. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Ak Cide Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Ak Cide special notes: If tube is first warmed in the hand prior to use, the ointment will flow more easily.

If you missed Ak Cide dose: Apply the missed dose as soon as remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose. If it is near time since the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your regular dosing schedule.

Ak Cide Storage: Store this pill at room temperature away from heat and sunlight. Avoid freezing it.
