Spironolactone Hctz Usage: this medication is diuretic or 'water pill'. it reduces amount of water & sodium retained by the body. Its used to lower blood pressure & to treat edema (fluid retention).

How to use Spironolactone Hctz: Take this exactly as prescribed. do not skip doses or increase dose with-out your doctor's approval. Take with food or milk to minimize stomach upset. Because this medication may increase urination, avoid taking dose late in the day.

Spironolactone Hctz side effects: this pill can cause dizziness or blurred vision. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. watch for signs about dehydration such as dry mouth or thirst. You may experience nausea, vomiting, loss about appetite, fatigue, sleeplessness, or nasal congestion first some days as your body adjusts to drug.
