D Vert Usage: this medication is used to prevent or treat nausea, vomiting and dizziness caused by motion sickness or middle ear infections.
How to use D Vert: for motion sickness, take the 1-st dose 30 minutes before traveling. since other conditions, take exactly as directed by your doctor. Chewable meds should be chewed thoroughly before swallowing.
D Vert side effects: can cause drowsiness, blurred vision, stomach upset, headache or dry mouth. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. since it med can cause drowsiness, use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.
D Vert Precautions: Tell youre doctor your medical history, especially of: glaucoma, prostate problems, urinary problems, asthma, any allergies you have. Alcohol may intensify drowsiness effect of it med. Limit alcohol intake & use caution performing tasks that require alertness such as driving and operating machinery. do not give meclizine to child under 12 years about age without doctor's permission. Before using this medication, inform your physician if you are pregnant. it is not known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult some your physician before breast-feeding.
D Vert drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every prescription and nonprescription medications you may use, especially of medications that have drowsiness effect such as: tablets for cough/colds and allergies, medications used for sleep, anti-seizure meds, narcotic pain meds (e.g., codeine), barbiturates (e.g., phenobarbital), tranquilizers. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
D Vert Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unusual excitability, drowsiness, hallucinations, very slow or shallow breathing, & seizures.
D Vert special notes: do not share it medication with others.
If you missed D Vert dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
D Vert Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
