Diflorasone Diacetate Usage: it medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.
How to use Diflorasone Diacetate: Clean & dry the affected region before applying the medication. To apply, gently massage small amount about the tablet into affected area and surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you instructed to do so by your doctor. don't use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this medication at diaper region. Avoid using this drug around eyes unless directed to do so by you're physician.
Diflorasone Diacetate side effects: this drug may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1-st applied to the skin. this should disappear at several days as your body adjusts to medication. it drug may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform your physician. Skin infections can become worse when using it medication. Notify youre doctor if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Diflorasone Diacetate Precautions: do not use this drug near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond 2 weeks consecutively is not recommended. don't use if there is an infection or sores present on the area to be treated. Though very unlikely, it is possible this tablet will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. it is especially true for children & since those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. it precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this med. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy and only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits and risks with your doctor. Small amounts about this medication may appear at breast milk. Consult with your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Diflorasone Diacetate drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about all tablets you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), another skin medicines. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Diflorasone Diacetate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Diflorasone Diacetate special notes: Inform all your healthcare professionals you use (or have used) this medication. do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Diflorasone Diacetate dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Diflorasone Diacetate Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
