    Neomycin/polymyxin/hydrocortisone - otic suspension

    (nee-oh-my-sin/paw-lee-mix-in/hi-dro-kor-tih-sown)

    Otimar Usage: it med is used to treat certain infections about outer ear.

    How to use Otimar: since best effects, it drug must be used as directed. Continue using this for the full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear the infection and could possibly result in a reinfection. don't use this drug more many times or continue to use it for longer then directed. Apply ear drops to affected ears as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper tip or let it touch your ear. If medication has been refrigerated, hold bottle in your hand for few minutes to warm it. Shake container well for 10 seconds before using. Lie on you're side or tilt affected ear up. Place dropper directly over ear & administer the prescribed number about drops. To help drops roll into ear, in adults, hold the earlobe up & back and in children, hold earlobe down & back. Keep head tilted since about two minutes or insert soft cotton plug if directed to do so. don't rinse the dropper.

    Otimar side effects: this tablet may temporarily sting or burn your ear for a minute or two when applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching/burning/redness/swelling/pain in or around ears. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Otimar Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: other infections, allergies (especially to antibiotics or sulfites). it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're pharmacist. Although unlikely, absorption into body of the hydrocortisone in it product may occur during topical application. Therefore, consult with your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Otimar med interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Otimar Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Otimar special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, consult youre physician.

    If you missed Otimar dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if It's near clock since next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Otimar Storage: it may be stored in refrigerator or at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light.
