    Corticosteroids - topical

    Lokara Usage: this med is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies and other irritations.

    How to use Lokara: Clean & dry the affected area before applying the medication. To apply, gently massage very small amount about medication into affected area and surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you instructed to do so by your healthcare professional. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this drug in diaper area. Avoid using it drug around eyes unless directed to do so by you're doctor.

    Lokara side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when first applied to skin. it should disappear in some days as your body adjusts to the drug. this drug may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform youre healthcare professional. Skin infections can become worse when using this drug. Notify your physician if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Lokara Precautions: do not use this drug near the eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. don't use if theyre is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, it is possible it medication will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true since children and for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of it drug. Consult youre pharmacist or pharmacist since more details. this med should be used cautiously during pregnancy and only if clearly needed. Discuss the benefits & risks with youre doctor. Small amounts of this medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with your physician before breast-feeding.

    Lokara drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all drugs you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially about: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Lokara Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Lokara special notes: Inform all your doctors you use (or have used) this drug. do not share this medication with others.

    If you missed Lokara dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; don't use if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Lokara Storage: Store in room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.

    Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in a medical emergency.
