Hydro Tuss Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Hydrocodone is narcotic pain reliever in a low-dose which suppresses cough. this combination medication is used to treat a cough and symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Hydro Tuss: Take this med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take this more often than directed. this drug is best taken with full glass of water after a meal or snack.

Hydro Tuss side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, constipation, nausea or stomach upset may occur the first several days as you're body adjusts to the drug. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. Notify some your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, mental confusion, hallucinations, breathing trouble. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.

Hydro Tuss Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slowed breathing, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss of consciousness, cold & clammy skin, dry mouth, & slow pulse.

Hydro Tuss special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this pill. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Hydro Tuss dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Hydro Tuss Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom.
