Respaire 120 Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Respaire 120: Take this medication by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this drug as directed. do not increase dose or take this more often or longer then prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Respaire 120 side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first some days as your body adjusts to the drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify you're pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this med may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Respaire 120 Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your pharmacist. It's not known if this tablet appears at breast milk; consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Respaire 120 drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, drug for HBP. Tell youre doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Respaire 120 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Respaire 120 dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Respaire 120 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
