Oticin HC Usage: this medication is used to treat certain infections about the outer ear.
How to use Oticin HC: for best effects, this medication must be used as directed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear infection & could possibly result in reinfection. do not use this medication more often or continue to use this for longer than directed. Apply ear drops to affected ears as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper tip or let it touch your ear. If the medication has been refrigerated, hold the bottle in your hand for some minutes to warm this. Lie on your side or tilt affected ear up. Place the dropper directly over the ear and administer the prescribed number of drops. To help drops roll into the ear, at adults, hold the earlobe up & back & in children, hold earlobe down & back. Keep the head tilted since about two minutes or insert soft cotton plug if directed to do so. do not rinse dropper.
Oticin HC side effects: it medication may temporarily sting or burn you're ear for a minute or two when applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform youre healthcare professional. Notify your doctor immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching, burning, redness, swelling or pain in or around the ears. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or pharmacist.
Oticin HC Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have any of the following conditions: infections, allergies (especially to antibiotics or sulfites). this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician.
Oticin HC drug interactions: Tell your physician about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine with-out physician or pharmacist approval.
Oticin HC Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Oticin HC special notes: If the condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult your physician.
If you missed Oticin HC dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Oticin HC Storage: this may be stored in refrigerator or at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Discard this if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
