Medi Tussin Dm Diabetic Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. this combination drug is used to treat cough associated with common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Medi Tussin Dm Diabetic: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take it more often than directed. Capsules and long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with full glass of water. don't crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & the chance of side effects will be increased.
Medi Tussin Dm Diabetic side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur first several days as your body adjusts to med. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop any of these effects while taking it medication: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this medication makes you feel dizzy. Medi Tussin Dm Diabetic medication interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Medi Tussin Dm Diabetic Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.
Medi Tussin Dm Diabetic special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Medi Tussin Dm Diabetic dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Medi Tussin Dm Diabetic Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
