Duratuss HD Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. this combination tablet is used to treat cough & relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, and another respiratory illnesses.

How to use Duratuss HD: this drug is best taken with, or after, meal or snack. Take this pill as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often then directed.

Duratuss HD side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur the 1'st some days as some your body adjusts to the drug. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify some your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.

Duratuss HD Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history about drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. this product should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. at least one of the ingredients in this combination product is known to be excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Duratuss HD drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.

Duratuss HD Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.

Duratuss HD special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Duratuss HD dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if Its near the time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Duratuss HD Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
