Nasal Decongestant Antihist Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms about allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Nasal Decongestant Antihist: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this med, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify youre healthcare professional. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form should be shaken well before each use.
Nasal Decongestant Antihist side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Nasal Decongestant Antihist Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to a children younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by a healthcare professional.
Nasal Decongestant Antihist tablet interactions: Tell your physician what pills you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure meds, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy drug. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Nasal Decongestant Antihist Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Nasal Decongestant Antihist special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Nasal Decongestant Antihist dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Nasal Decongestant Antihist Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
