    Corticosteroids - topical

    Mometasone Furoate Usage: this tablet is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.

    How to use Mometasone Furoate: Clean & dry affected region before applying the med. To apply, gently massage little of the medication into affected area & surrounding skin. don't bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you are instructed to do so by your doctor. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with this pill in the diaper region. Avoid using this drug around the eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.

    Mometasone Furoate side effects: this drug can cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when first applied to skin. this should disappear at a several days as your body adjusts to drug. it drug may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're pharmacist. Skin infections can become worse when using this pill. Notify some your healthcare professional if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.

    Mometasone Furoate Precautions: do not use this medication near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. don't use if there is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, It's possible this drug will be absorbed in to you're bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for kid & for those who have used it for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use about this drug. Consult some your doctor or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss the benefits and risks with you're physician. Small amounts about this medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with youre doctor before breast-feeding.

    Mometasone Furoate drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about all medications you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Mometasone Furoate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Mometasone Furoate special notes: Inform every your healthcare professionals you use (or have used) it medication. do not share it medication with others.

    If you missed Mometasone Furoate dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if Its almost clock for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Mometasone Furoate Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.

    Medical alert: youre condition can cause complications in a medical emergency.
