Medi Tussin Cough Cold Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Medi Tussin Cough Cold: Take this drug as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more many of times than directed. Capsule dose forms should be swallowed whole.
Medi Tussin Cough Cold side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur 1-st few days as your body adjusts to medication. Medi Tussin Cough Cold drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: blood pressure tablets, pills used to reduce weight, heart tablet, medication that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not use this product together with an MAO inhibitor, or for two weeks after stopping MAO inhibitor tablet. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Medi Tussin Cough Cold Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.
