Carbodec Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Carbodec: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless youre doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify your pharmacist. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Carbodec side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as youre body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Carbodec Precautions: Tell your pharmacist youre medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, medication allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. don't give this medication to child younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by a physician.
Carbodec pill interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional what drugs you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure pills, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain med, other cold or allergy drug. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Carbodec Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose at children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount about urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose at adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Carbodec special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Carbodec dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Carbodec Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
