B 12 Usage: Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) is important to the body for growth, cell production, & blood & nerve function. it is given to treat or prevent low levels of B12 in the body.

How to use B 12: Take this drug by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once a day.

B 12 side effects: it drug is generally well tolerated. Notify some your doctor if you develop: diarrhea, itching or a skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

B 12 Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: another illnesses, any allergies. this medication should be used only as directed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor.

B 12 drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: vitamins, folic acid. Limit intake of alcoholic beverages which can interfere with absorption of this drug. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.

B 12 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

B 12 special notes: Laboratory tests may be done periodically while taking this tablet to monitor It's effects. Its important to maintain well balanced diet to ensure adequate intake of vitamins & minerals.

If you missed B 12 dose: Try to take each dose at scheduled time. If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

B 12 Storage: Store this medication at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom. Keep this & all meds out of the reach about children.
