Medi Tussin Cf Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses a cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination med is used to treat cough & relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Medi Tussin Cf: this pill is best taken with full glass of water after a meal or snack. Swallow long acting tablets & capsules whole. do not crush or chew them because the long action will be destroyed & the chance of side effects will be increased. Take this drug as prescribed. do not increase you're dose or take it more often then directed.
Medi Tussin Cf side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. Notify youre doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. Medi Tussin Cf Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements of eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or quick heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, big pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.

If you missed Medi Tussin Cf dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
