Decongestant/antihistamine/anticholinergic - oral

Dallergy Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat & itchy, watery eyes. Anticholinergics have drying effect on mucous secretions. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Dallergy: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. this drug is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Long-acting tablets and capsules should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew them or the long action may be destroyed and the chance of side effects increased.

Dallergy side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose and eyes may occur the first some days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify some your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

Dallergy Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, any allergies. cash it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this tablet must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this drug found in breast milk, consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.

Dallergy drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: drug for blood pressure, medication for depression such as MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your doctor if you take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine since sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety drugs (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants. Limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this drug. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Dallergy Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, quick breathing, fever, hot dry & flushed skin, seizures, or coma.

Dallergy special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Dallergy dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Dallergy Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at bathroom.
