Medi Tussin Usage: this medication is used to relieve dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm & mucous in the lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.
How to use Medi Tussin: Take each dose of it drug with a full glass about water. Water will also help break-up the mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty about fluids while taking this medication, unless your physician instructs you otherwise. do not take it medication for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your doctor. If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, headache or rash, consult your doctor.
Medi Tussin side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Medi Tussin Precautions: If you have any of the next health problems, consult your healthcare professional before using it pill: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. it medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Guaifenesin may affect the results of certain lab tests. Be sure your caregivers are aware you use this medicine before lab tests are performed. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Medi Tussin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.

If you missed Medi Tussin dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if this is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Medi Tussin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of it med. do not store syrup at the refrigerator.
