Hm Suppository Usage: this med is used to treat constipation.

How to use Hm Suppository: Unwrap suppository and moisten with lukewarm water. Lie down on your left side with right knee bent (if left-handed, lie on the right side with left knee bent). Push the suppository into rectum with your finger. do not use more of this medication than directed on the package label or by your doctor. do not use for longer than 1 week unless directed by your pharmacist. Consult you're doctor or pharmacist. Laxatives must only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence.

Hm Suppository side effects: Skin irritation or burning around the rectum may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Very unlikely but report promptly: blood in stools, persistent urge to empty bowel, persistent diarrhea. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your healthcare professional or physician.

Hm Suppository Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, including: allergies, undiagnosed stomach pain, nausea or vomiting. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre doctor. Its not known if glycerin is excreted into breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Hm Suppository drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every nonprescription & prescription drug you may use, especially of: other laxatives. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.

Hm Suppository Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. If you or someone you know may have taken this medicine by mouth, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Hm Suppository special notes: do not share it medication with others. To prevent constipation drink 4 to 6 glasses about water daily, include bulk or roughage in you're diet & exercise regularly.

If you missed Hm Suppository dose: Generally, this medication is only used 'as needed'. Consult your pharmacist for more information.

Hm Suppository Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from heat, light & moisture.
